Calls Dropstone makes for you
Give Dropstone a call to make, and the limits it may act within. Anything outside them is held for your approval, and every call comes back as one card in the chat with a recording in Settings.
Dropstone can make a call on your behalf: booking a table, chasing an order, asking a supplier a question. It is a real call, to a real number, with a person on the other end.
What you give it
A call needs more than the task. Dropstone takes the context it cannot ask you about mid-call:
- Who it is calling, and what it is calling about
- What it may need: a name to give, party size, dates and times, a budget, fallbacks
- The decision authority: what it may agree to alone, and what it must not
It never commits beyond the authority you gave it. If the only option is outside your limits, it asks them to hold it and comes back to you.
Held options and approval
A held option is reported plainly: what was offered, and how it differs from what you allowed. You decide. Take it, and Dropstone places a short follow-up call to confirm; decline, and it lets it go.
Nothing is agreed in your name outside the limits you set, and nothing is agreed silently.
After the call
Each call appears as its own card in the chat, and while it is running a call panel opens beside the conversation with live captions of both sides. When it ends, the card and the panel show a summary of what was said and decided, with the transcript and the recording. See Watch a call while it happens.
The audio is recorded, and the recording is listed in Settings under Recordings, where you can play it back or delete it. See Call recordings.
If the chat is shared, the audio is not shared with it unless you turn on Include call recording, and Hide sensitive information hides numbers and addresses throughout the call. See Share a call.
