Dropstone Chat

Dropstone Chat at chat.dropstone.io is a conversational assistant with memory, projects, document upload, artifacts, and skills. Here is the layout and the first things to try.

A project groups conversations and files around one piece of work. Upload documents once and every conversation in the project has them. Here is how to create, organize, and use projects in Dropstone Chat.

When you ask Dropstone for something you can see, a page, a chart, a document, a diagram, a small app, it builds an artifact beside the conversation that you can view, refine, and share.

A skill packages a way of doing something so Dropstone can apply it on request. Use built-in skills, or create your own in the Skill Studio, without re-explaining the process every time.

An incognito chat writes nothing to your memory: nothing you say or correct is kept, and no summary is made. What Dropstone already knows about you is still available to it, so the work gets the same assistant without leaving a trace.

Find any past conversation by what was said in it. Search covers your whole history in Dropstone Chat, including conversations inside projects.

A tracker is a table the conversation keeps coming back to, kept as a thing of its own rather than re-pasted into every reply. Where it lives, how to change it by asking, and what a shared link does with it.

The bell in Dropstone Chat, and what arrives in it: a mention in a shared chat, or an announcement from the chat's owner. How to tell them apart, and what the browser permission changes.

Every reply carries a row of controls: copy it, read it aloud, comment on it, rate it, retry it, or fork the chat from it. What each one does, and the controls in the header beside them.
