Create a PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file
Ask for a report, a spreadsheet, or a deck and download it as a real file. PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PowerPoint (.pptx), PNG, or Markdown, one file or several, each with its own design.
Ask for the thing you want. When it belongs in a file, Dropstone builds it as an artifact beside the conversation and gives you a download in the format that fits.

The first format in each row is the one for that kind of thing; the others are there when you need them.
Several files from one reply
One request can produce more than one file. Ask for three versions of a one-pager and you get three, each with its own download. When a reply holds several files, Export all as zip downloads them together.
A spreadsheet works the same way: ask for one CSV per sheet and you get a file per sheet, rather than one workbook with tabs.
Each file can look the way you want
Design is part of what you ask for, so two documents from the same chat can look nothing alike.
- Say it in the prompt. "Use our brand colour." "Make it look like a legal memo." "Serif headings, two columns."
- The default is Dropstone's cyan, on documents, charts, and decks, so a set of files looks like a set.
- A deck takes one typeface for the whole deck, from a modern sans to an editorial serif.
- A spreadsheet takes a style: header fill, banding, borders, a tab colour, frozen columns, and totals rows.
- For something you want every time, put it in Settings under Instructions for Dropstone. It applies in every chat, so you say it once.
What the file is named
The file is named after the artifact's title, as it is shown, and you can rename it in the panel header before downloading. That name is what arrives in your downloads folder.
Limitations
- One CSV is one sheet. Exporting a workbook with several sheets to CSV gives you the first one, because the format has nowhere to put a second. Ask for the sheets as separate files and each arrives as its own CSV, or take the workbook as Excel (.xlsx) and the tabs stay together in one file.
- A PDF is a rendered copy. It is what the page looked like, not something you can edit back. Keep the artifact in the conversation if you want to change it later.
