Privacy controls
The privacy page in your Dropstone dashboard explains what happens to your data and gives you the switches that control it, including opting out of having your conversations used to improve Dropstone.
The Privacy page of your dashboard states plainly what Dropstone does with your data and lets you change the parts that are yours to change.
The controls
Use of conversations to improve Dropstone. On consumer accounts, Dropstone may use session content to improve its models. You can opt out here. When you opt out, your conversations from that point on are not used for that purpose. Organization accounts are excluded from this entirely and have no switch to set.
Sessions. See every place you are signed in and sign any of them out. This is in Settings; see Your dashboard.
Export. Download your conversations and data. See Export and delete your data.
Delete. Remove your account and everything in it. See Delete your account.
What the page tells you
Alongside the controls, the page states the commitments that apply regardless of settings:
- The model providers Dropstone uses are under contract to retain nothing: your inputs and outputs are discarded as soon as the response is generated.
- All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3, and internal service-to-service calls run inside an isolated private network.
- Your memory is private to your account and, in an organization, shared only when you choose to share a specific memory.

Memory is separate
The privacy page is about your data as a whole. Your memory, the specific things Dropstone has learned about you, is inspected and edited by asking Dropstone directly, in any conversation. See Memory and your privacy.
Incognito
For a single conversation you do not want kept or learned from, use an incognito chat. It is a per-conversation control rather than an account setting.
