Dropstone Support

Manage your subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, switch between monthly and annual, update your payment method, or cancel, all from the billing page in your Dropstone dashboard. What changes when, and what happens to your data.

Everything about your subscription is on the Billing page of your dashboard.

Upgrade

Choose the plan you want and confirm. The upgrade takes effect immediately: the larger allowance and any additional models are available as soon as it completes. You are charged the difference for the rest of the current period.

Your memory, conversations, projects, and files are unchanged. Nothing needs to be moved.

Downgrade

Choose the lower plan. The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you paid for until then. On the new plan, your allowance and available models adjust accordingly.

If you downgrade to Free, Dropstone Heavy is no longer available and the weekly allowance drops to the Free level. Everything else, including memory, stays.

Monthly and annual

Pro and Max can be billed monthly or annually. Annual is one payment per year, at a discount to twelve monthly payments.

Switch from monthly to annual at any time; the annual period starts immediately and you are credited for the unused part of the month. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect when the annual period ends.

Max usage multiples

Max is one plan with a choice of how much usage it includes. From the billing page you can move between multiples. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down takes effect at the end of the period.

Payment method

Update your card from the billing page. The new card is used for the next charge. Invoices and receipts for past charges are listed there too.

Cancel

Choose Cancel subscription on the billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to Free. You are not charged again.

Cancelling does not delete anything. Your account, memory, conversations, and projects remain on the Free plan. To remove your data, see Delete your account.

Billing questions and refunds

If a charge looks wrong, or you need help with an invoice or a refund, contact us through How to get support with the email on your account and the date of the charge. Do not send card details.

Organizations

If your plan is managed by an organization, billing is handled by your organization admin and the billing page will say so. See Dropstone for teams and organizations.
