Billing currencies and taxes
Dropstone bills in US dollars and Indian rupees. Which currency you are billed in, how it is chosen, and how tax is handled on your invoice.
Dropstone subscriptions are billed in one of two currencies.
Supported currencies
- US dollars (USD)
- Indian rupees (INR)
The currency is chosen when you first subscribe, based on your location. It is shown on the pricing page and on the billing page before you confirm.
Prices in each currency are set for that currency; they are not a live conversion of the other. The pricing page shows both.
Changing currency
The currency on an active subscription cannot be changed. If you need to move to the other currency, cancel the current subscription, let it run to the end of its period, and subscribe again. Your account and data are unaffected. If that is a problem for you, contact support.
Tax
Where tax applies, it is calculated from the billing address on your account and shown as a separate line on your invoice. The amount on the pricing page is the pre-tax price.
If you are a business and need a tax identifier on your invoices, add it from the billing page. If your invoices need to show something they currently do not, contact support.
Invoices
Every charge produces an invoice, listed on the billing page with a downloadable PDF. Invoices show the plan, the period, the currency, and any tax.
