Dropstone Support

Gift a subscription

Buy a Dropstone Pro or Max subscription as a gift, send the recipient a code, and let them redeem it on their own account. How gifting works, how to redeem, and when gifts expire.

You can buy a Dropstone subscription for someone else. They redeem it on their own account, with their own memory and their own history; nothing about your account is shared.

Buy a gift

Go to dropstone.io/gift. Choose the plan and the length, pay, and you receive a gift code. Send the code to the recipient however you like.

You do not need to know the recipient's account or email. The code is what carries the gift.

Redeem a gift

The recipient signs in to their Dropstone account, or creates one, and enters the code on the Gifts page of the dashboard.

The gifted plan starts immediately. If the recipient is already on a paid plan, the gift is applied when their current period ends, so nothing is lost.

Gifts expire

A gift code is valid for a limited time from purchase. The expiry date is shown when you buy it and in the email you receive. Once a code expires it can no longer be redeemed. Once it has been redeemed, the subscription runs for its full length regardless of when it was redeemed.

After the gift ends

When a gifted period ends, the recipient's account returns to Free unless they subscribe themselves. Their memory, conversations, and projects stay.
