Service status
status.dropstone.io shows whether Dropstone is operating normally, with current incidents, their updates, and history. Check it first when something is not working.
status.dropstone.io is the live view of whether Dropstone is working.
What it shows
Current status for each part of the service: chat, the API that the CLI and SDK use, the dashboard, and sign-in.
Active incidents, with what is affected, what we know, and updates as we work on it. An incident is posted as soon as it is confirmed, not after it is resolved.
History, so you can see whether a problem you hit earlier was an incident and when it ended.
When to check it
Before anything else, when Dropstone is returning errors or not responding. If there is an incident, the error you are seeing is almost certainly it, and the fix is to wait. The status page says when it is resolved.
Errors that mention the status page, such as "Something went wrong (500). Please try again. Check status.dropstone.io for updates," are pointing you here on purpose. See Troubleshoot error messages for what each error means.
Automatic reporting
Dropstone's own systems report to the status page. When the service sees a pattern of failures from the models it depends on, or from its own components, an incident is opened automatically, so the page reflects problems as they start rather than when someone notices.
Nothing on the status page, but it is broken for me
Then it is probably specific to your account, your network, or your request rather than an outage. Troubleshoot error messages covers the common ones. If that does not resolve it, contact support with the error text and when it happened; a report from you is how we learn about problems the automatic reporting cannot see.
